My very first BLOG!Posted: Aug 17, 2009Facebook, Linked-In, Blogging, Twitter, Chatterberries, Knotties…………the list of social networking terms seems to grow everyday! At Celebration Events, I have been blessed to be at the forefront of cuisine, style and presentation for years, but now I find myself entering new, unchartered, technologically advanced waters pulling me into a sea of social networks. Our website provider, or as I like to call my technical therapist, has been nagging me for weeks (ok maybe longer) to start a blog. I kept thinking, “uh, what…who…me…..blogging…for real?” He had to be joking. Who in the world would want to read a Celebration Events blog? What would I blog about? Why would anyone care? Well, to be honest as he wore me down, I began to think about blogging more objectively and I realized I actually have a vault of blogs that are waiting to be shared. As I thought this over more I realized that not only do I have a ton to share with you, but so do each and every member of our team! From our chef’s secret recipes to our sale’s team affordable style tips to our operation department’s endless supply of crazy, real life, event stories there is more than enough to keep you entertained for weeks, maybe years! So as I end this first, experimental blog, I invite you back to us each week to read more about food, style, love and laughter! See you next week! Alison Manwell Weinman P.S. Before you get too impressed by our growing technical savvy, please know our office phones still cannot connect you to voicemail, that we handwrite messages and use endless supplies of Post-Its to keep this ship afloat! We look forward to your commentsCommenting is closed for this article. |
