This exclusive Celebrations Catering & Events venue departs from the others with its casual, relaxed ambience and closeness to nature. Rustic Lowcountry souvenirs grace the walls of Backwater Bill’s, while ambling wooden piers extend to Duffy Boats and kayaks, just steps from the Lakeview Members’ Room. Around the corner from the screened porch, you just might find a fishing derby underway. This venue is all about fun, family and fabulous memory-making!
Your guests will feel as though they’ve stepped into yesteryear at the Lakehouse, where the pace is easy and the surroundings relaxed. Designed like the comfortable places that past generations enjoyed on the eastern shore, the Lakehouse is where memories gather as easily as friends. Maybe it’s the reclaimed barnwood paneling and rusted tin shed roof ceilings or the two grand stone fireplaces and the soothing sound of a crackling fire. The chefs at Backwater Bill’s Grill will coordinate your every wish with the Celebrations Catering & Events team, from custom menus to special themed parties. You can take your event outdoors with cocktails and appetizers at the popular Tower Bar, with water views in every direction. Maximum capacity including all areas of the Lakehouse is 250, though intimate gatherings are welcome, too.
