We are pleased to introduce our "new," yet not so new anymore, staff member. She started in early September. She was "thrown to the wind" quite literally with the tropical storm and Hurricane Matthew and have not only survived but thrived, so we can now introduce her to the world! Please welcome Wedding and & Event Specialist Karina!
Karina Crockett was raised in New Hampshire and graduated from Rivier University with a degree in Communications specializing in advertising and public relations. She first discovered her love of catering while working at a small general store catering staff meetings and events at Dartmouth Hitchcock. This included yearly graduation ceremonies and a visit from Hillary Clinton! From there she started volunteering on a planning committee for Paddlepower- an annual 3-day kayaking and camping fundraiser. She then interned at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH, the oldest operating theatre in the state. Here she focused on their annual fundraiser the Kitchen Tour which has over 1200 participants yearly.
After helping numerous friends and family plan their weddings she discovered a love for wedding planning! After successfully planning her own wedding from the top to bottom her and her new hubby packed up everything and moved to South Carolina so she could follow her dream!
Outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors, on or as close to the water as possible with her husband and their dog, Bandit. She also enjoys cooking, now taking home daily inspiration from Chef Andy’s amazing creations!
